They have been creating some of their own art pieces linked to activism linked to the climate crisis, which has been inspired by their current geography topic. Others focussed on different messages that were important to them that were inspired by the artists’ studied. Year 6 have studied a few activism artists: Luba Lukova, Shepard Fairey and Faith Ringgold. They were particularly moved by Luba’s artwork and how her message is shown through images.
